Mike Vrabel Continues Working His Way Through NFL Insiders, Now Dating Adam Schefter

FOXBOROUGH–Some prefer blondes. The Patriot’s head man seems to prefer NFL Insiders. After an alleged fling with Diana Russini in April, Vrabel was caught by cameras at the same resort in Sedona, Arizona holding hands with legendary scoop-getter Adam Schefter.

The situation prompted significant concerns regarding media ethics, professional conflicts of interest, and most notably, Vrabel’s taste in romantic partners. 

Vrabel initially dismissed the allegations. “These photos show a completely innocent interaction, and any suggestion otherwise is laughable”, he said, while laughing. But when Schefter later admitted he and Vrabel retired to his hotel suite to watch The Notebook together on pay-per-view, Vrabel changed his tune.

“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players…” he said, somewhat convincingly. “We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me”.

Was the bad decision his private evening with Schefty? Or was it choosing to watch the 2004 romantic drama about star-crossed lovers Noah and Allie over a bottle of wine, which would drive even the buffest ex-linebacker to tears? 

“Personally, I wanted to watch a football movie, like Invincible,” Schefter shared without prompting, physically unable not to share insider info, even when the insider info is about himself. “Vince Papale’s inspirational story of making the 1976 Philadelphia Eagles gets me harder than it is to understand Ed Ogeron. But Mike refused. He hates the Eagles. Ultimately, I was fine watching The Notebook because Jared Goff looks like Ryan Gosling, bu the Temu version. Think about it.”

According to reports, Vrabel had moved on since the scandal, focusing his attention on repeating as NFL coach of the year, leaving many in Patriot Nation to wonder if Vrabel’s off-field distractions were finally over.
