Week 1 has officially begun, which means fantasy managers can finally get back to what we do best: wildly overreacting to one football game. Weāre not ready to declare anyone a league winner (or send anyone to the waiver wire) just yet. But after one game, a few fantasy stocks are already moving. š Stock…
Every Fantasy manager loves a week 1 sleeper. You know the type: the guy buried down around WR40 or RB35 who suddenly finds himself sitting in the end zone on Sunday afternoon while you’re staring at your bench wondering why you didn’t see it coming. Week 1 is particularly fertile ground for these kinds of…
WEEK 1: Who do I start / sit Every week, fantasy managers are faced with the same question: Who do I start, and who do I sit? It sounds simple, but the answer shouldn’t be based solely on a player’s name, draft position, or what he did last week. Our Start/Sit process looks beyond the…
Draft season is, sadly, more or less over. The high-stakes contests will continue drafting into next weekend, but most friendly, family leagues have folded up the draft boards, packed away the cheat sheets, and turned their attention to the most important question of Week 1: Who the hell do I start? The average fantasy draft…
Fantasy football analysis has become pretty good at telling you who is being overdrafted. We love finding the guy going in Round 2 who should be going in Round 4. We love identifying the player whose ADP is being inflated by last year’s stats, a flashy name or three highlight-reel games. And, of course, we…
The year-over-year dropout rate of players finishing as a WR3 or RB3 or better is highly volatile. Approximately 35%ā50% of the top 36 positional finishers fail to repeat as top-36 players the following year. While that sounds pretty bad, consider the other side of the equation: 50%ā65% of them do repeat. The crack staff here…
Kickers are supposed to be the easiest position to draft. Wait until the end. Find a guy attached to a good offense. Take the one with a decent matchup. Move on. Apparently, we’ve decided that’s too simple. In 2026, fantasy managers are spending increasingly valuable draft capital on two kickers who may be good at…
Here at PigskinFantasy, we’ve built a website designed to help you become a better fantasy football player, make you laugh once in a while, and occasionally leave you with a little piece of knowledge you can use outside of fantasy football. It’s been awhile since our last “Pig in a Poke”. If you need a…
Harold Fannin Jr. ā TE His rookie season was good, not elite. Fannin finished with 72 catches, 731 yards and six TDs on 107 targets. That’s strong production, but his 11.7 fantasy points per game ranked only around the back end of the TE1 range. His fantasy breakout came after David Njoku was injured. CBS…
Every fantasy football draft has players who look like great picksābut arenāt.Ā They are great players, but are being overdrafted. Being āoverdraftedā doesn’t mean a player will have a bad season; it means you’re paying more for his expected production than you should. The key to winning a draft isn’t simply identifying the players who…
