Both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are active for the Bengals game. Higgins, however, will have some limitations on his snaps. Whether that means he’s only in on passing plays or if his pass plays are limited as well is not certain. Start with hesitation.
Marvin Harrison Jr. will be inactive this Sunday as the Cardinals work a deal to trade him. The team is taking offers and appears to be in negotiations with a number of teams. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that a leading candidate is the Houston Texans, to pair Harrison with CJ Stroud, his college QB.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Terry McLaurin is “most likely a game time decision”. McLaurin made it through a limited practice on Friday. With Stefon Diggs already ruled out, the Commanders have their fingers crossed that McLaurin will play. Otherwise, expect a lot of Antonio Williams and Chig Okonkwo. Or running. Probably lots of running.
Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for the Ravens clash with Atlanta this Sunday night. Tyler Huntley will draw the start for Baltimore.
Saquon Barkley and DaVonta Smith have been ruled out for the Eagles game against the Jaguars on Sunday. Will Shipley should receive the majority of the carries while Dallas Goedert, who returns this week, should see a significant uptick in usage.
Pittman reaggravated his foot injury and is expected to miss multiple weeks according to head coach Mike McCarthy. This should bump up DK Metcalf and Roman Wilson’s involvement and give rookie Germaine Bernard more targets (he had 8 when Pittman sat in Week 2).
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is reporting Kyle Monangai has turf toe. Monangai is “hoping to play through it”, but could potentially miss the next week or two. He has not practiced this week and it is considered unlikely to play.
Breece Hall did not practice Wednesday and was not seen at the open portion of practice on Thursday. It is expected that Hall will sit this week, giving Braelon Allen the reigns to the back field for at least one more week.
“He’s full go” is the the quote from Washington offensive coordinator David Blough. Daniels returned to practice Wednesday with a full participation. Those waiting on his return can plug him back into line ups for this Sunday’s match up against the Giants.
With Jadarian Price on IR and Zach Charbonnet not ready to play, the Seahawks prepared to sign Joe Mixon to their practice squad. However, Mixon failed his physical Tuesday so the Seahawks decided not to sign him.
